On July 19, the donation and signing ceremony of Nankai University Shu Dong Foundation was held in the Haibing Building, Balitai Campus. The ceremony was attended by Xu Jingjun, executive vice president of NKU, Niu Wenli, deputy secretary of the CPC Nankai University Committee, Shu Dong, undergraduate class 1988 alumnus majoring in business management and founder of Guangdong Zhongxian Law Firm, and Zhao Jinfang, a retired teacher of the School of Medicine who served as the counsellor of Shu Dong during his stay in NKU.

As this year marks the 30^th anniversary of his graduation, Shu Dong, appreciating what he learned during his stay in NKU, donated 5 million yuan in the form of Shu Dong Foundation to support high-performing full-time undergraduates from needy households, and award teaching staff who are dedicated to work and makes selfless and outstanding contributions to education.
