Xu Jianhui, Secretary of the CPC Committee and Dean of Beichen Hospital of Nankai University and her colleagues visited School of Medicine on November 7. Chen Yibin, member of the School’s management and Vice Director of the Research Department, attended the symposium, which was chaired by Gao Haiyan, Secretary of the CPC Committee of NKU School of Medicine.

Both sides conducted in-depth discussions on teaching, scientific research, student cultivation and database sharing, and proposed efforts to boost future cooperation.

In December 2021, Tianjin Beichen Hospital became affiliated to NKU. In September 2023, both parties signed an Agreement on the Construction of Beichen Hospital of Nankai University. In October 2023, Beichen Hospital held the 60^th anniversary celebration and inauguration ceremony as Beichen Hospital of Nankai University.
